John Hawk, MD
John Hawk, MD, is Professor and Head of the Photobiology Unit, St. John's Institute of Dermatology, and Consultant Dermatologist, St. Thomas' Hospital, London, England. Professor Hawk's research interests center on all aspects of the effects of ultraviolet radiation on the skin, and he is on many local and international scientific committees and advisory boards relating to this subject. He has also authored many scientific papers, reviews, chapters and books, including editing the current major international photodermatological text, and is a regular consultant and adviser to various government organizations, statutory bodies, patient societies and the media.
