Ervin Epstein, Jr., MD
Ervin Epstein, MD, is a leading Dermatologist whose research interests have focused on the molecular biology of inherited and neoplastic skin diseases. Dr. Epstein is also a frequent speaker and leading writer with papers that have appeared in New England Journal of Medicine and Science. He has also served on the boards of numerous dermatological organizations as well as journals, including American Academy of Dermatology and Journal of Investigative Dermatology and has served as President of the Society for Investigative Dermatology, the world's foremost organization devoted to research into the biology of the skin. Currently, Dr. Epstein serves as the Research Dermatologist and Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the University of California, San Francisco and has an active private practice in the San Francisco Bay Area.
